Hopefully you have had time to look over the site to figure out what is going on here. Just thought I would put a few notes here about myself and some things you can expect.
First off I am Jeff and have been a nerd for about as long as I can remember, the first movies I think I ever fell in "love" with would have to be Star Wars. I was watching them before I was five. That combined with a Trekkie dad who worked in computer networking, I was bound for nerdville, which isn't a bad thing I love this world from superheroes to hobbits and dragons to the edges of galaxies far, far away the fact that anything is possible and nothing is off limits makes it so much better than reality.
That brings me to the website, as a nerd and gamer I have always enjoyed communing with other nerds, whether watching movies, going to conventions, or playing a nice game of Halo, doesn't really matter to me. The problem I have run into in the past when I have had to relocate it is sometimes difficult to find the local community. So, I figured if I can't find them, there must be others having the same difficulty, hence the idea was born...
This is a place for all nerds to come and feel welcome, talk and discuss all things, and hopefully build a community where people can find fellow nerds to socialize with while enjoying the things we love.
